For years, I tried unsuccessfully to lose weight and keep it off by addressing issues related only to my physical body. Having an interest in neuroscience, I was elated to learn about the connection between the body and brain. My old patterns of failing could be reprogrammed.
At the same time, God was showing me how my spirit has access to power over the obstacles of life when I choose to partner with Him. Through my relationship with Christ, I gained access to wisdom, power, and authority to overcome those obstacles. As I integrated God into my weight loss journey, He gave me the power to walk in freedom.
